The Parks & Recreation program encompasses the social, cultural, economic, and psychological motivators that move  people to work in the Recreation and Tourism industry.  Students in the program will discover leadership, management, and social relationship skills that can lead them to a full-time career in the Recreation & Tourism industry.  Students completing this program will develop the skills through hands-on experiences to become guides, instructors, interpreters, managers and tourism operators.  Program participants will also be able to earn college credit through EDGE program articulation agreements (pending).
